that's what it is. perfectly, prettily, pink! my new hero/popsicle-in-law made my birthday for me. he built me an old retro bike out of parts and painted it pink! it has a lovely wicker basket, which bernice has already settled into most comfortably. (not sure how safe this is yet...will test if out with a spotter) but yay! i told him he could make a fortune out of selling these in the city...but he just likes doing it for fun. what a great gift eh?this year erin and i are on the boobyball committee. (the booby ball for anyone who doesn't know is a fundraiser for breast cancer)we are in charge of the loot bags...ok gift bags, but... as we all know that the best part of any party is...the swag. the theme this year is rocker glam, and we are on the hunt for product, both theme appropriate, and otherwise. we have had some majorly generous donations already (jonnie is another hero of mine), and if any of you reading this know of any companies that would be willing to donate product for silent auction or gift bags please pass on the idea to them, or let me know... but even if you don't, make sure you get a ticket...its always a good party.
well im hoping to finish the final harry potter tonight, i spent all last week re-reading all the prior ones to get me refreshed and raring to go for this final installment of the epic series. i find that im taking my time finishing, reading slowly so as not to miss anything, because as much as i want to know how it ends... i'm sad to read the last page as it will end my little journey in the wizarding world. i know i know...its for kids right? well, i cant help but love the characters, appreciate the language rowling uses (not a word of a lie i had to look a word up) and want to hear the story continue... if there is one kind of celebrity i would want to be, its a famous author; minimal street-side recognition, admiration for creativity and intelligence, and still all the perks that the celeb world benefits from. i guess there's still lots of time on my side...right? ;)
