merry 1/2 christmas!

to you to you...a very merry half christmas to you...(singing the alice in wonderland tune...out loud) thats what this time of year is half the way through the year and only 162 odd days till christmas...so clearly its a half christmas celebration time! or...for those of you who are more traditional...we can just call it my brithday...but to me its one in the same ;) one year we actually had a brilliant christmas birthday party for my mum (birthday is in may) it was marissa's idea, cause my mum basically lives for christmas ...and as you can see i got that gene from her.

today is also friday the 13th. (cue spooky music) but in the motorcycle yeilding families out there this means biker day in port dover. let me tell you if you ever have a chance to hit up port dover on friday the 13th...its worth a looksie. this teeny little town is rammed full of leather wearing, beer drinkin, tough guys ...and some pretty tough gals too. lyn's gonna head down with a buddy, you know; re-pre-sent the crotch rockets out there. i, on the other hand, have been there done that, and will be instead battling the 400 north to holly's cottage.

well im off. gotta buy some icecream for lunch...its national ice cream month i'll have you know!

as angela says...who needs another reason to eat ice cream (i do!) ooo and she also suggested a fab national day which i will sponsor and support her in the quest to establish.... drum roll please..."national coach bag day"! the thoughts on the days festivities: everyone can design their own bag online and on the national day it would arrive at our homes, and inside would be a starbucks card... then everyone would meet at bucks show off their bags and sip fraps and lattes. angela's logic behind this? "if you can celebrate a creamsicle, you should celebrate a venti non fat chai latte (and a fab bag)"...and who can honestly argue with that.
