so.... lyndon is on his way home from afternoon shift at the station and this guy pulls up beside him on the QE and tells him to pull over, he does and the guy tells him that there are sparks and things flying out from his car. the two of them open the hood of the exploer to find that it is completely filled to the brim with pinecones! :O what on earth.... initial reaction was "stupid punk kids" then upon noticing the sheer magnitude of the "vandalism" it was determined that a family of squirrels have been saving their collection for their winter hibernation. hilarious. so much for parking in the driveway. lyndon dug out probably a few hundred pinecones from around the engine, all the while, slightly worried that he might reach in and come out with a squirrel latched to his hand. sneaky little guys...but clearly hard workers. (i think lyn should have told the guy who pulled him over...that he didnt realize that was a bad place to keep his collection...tee hee)i think i am going through a clumsy phase...i have fallen down the stairs twice in the last 2 weeks, and i have bruised my knee by cracking it on the coffee table, and i drop just about everything i pick up (poor bernice ;) ...jj) i dont know why this is happening, but i hope i outgrow it soon.
well i got my first cold of the season...pretty good since its december already this week (um hello where did the year go...apparently i am becoming an adult making statements like that). so i am workin from home today to try to medicate it out of me...its really like a bit of an exercision over here....i despise the sniffles.
