last night we (being erin, erin, angela, jos and i) went to see wicked. it was really cute, a nice post-pre-historical account of the wicked witches from oz. the show was good, very light and funny too. my fav were the quotes from glenda the good witch. she was too funny she came out with some goodies like, "its not about aptitude...its about how your viewed" and "mumsie and popsicle" (soon to be brought into regular circulation in my house), and "It's good to see me, isn't it? No need to answer, that was rhetorical." plus most importantly glenda had the prettiest wardrobe ever...i just wanted to borrow all the costumes. who says you cant wear princess gowns around anymore?there were a few inaccuracies i do question; 1 - why was there a dragon hanging over the stage - was it left up from the spam-a-lot show? 2 - why were the infamous ruby slippers soo....silver? 3- why was glenda wearing blue - hello she is supposed to wear pink... regardless it was still very entertaining...even from the peanut gallery which is where we cheapskates sat (behind people who answer and talk on their cell phones...and who bring there dins in plastic crinkly bags to eat during the show... sigh... mumsie and popsicle have spoilt me).
ps although i am truly enjoying the sun...the temp is killing my holiday mood...make up your mind harold hussein!
pps id like to give a shout out to Chris Yocom ...holla
