sigh....i heart ronald miller...yes yes i know that now everyone refers to him as derek sheppard, but in my heart he will always be ronald miller. partick dempsey has been my teen heart-throb since i was ...well a teen. and today he is cuter than ever in grey's anatomy (new season starts sept 26th - mark your calenders). well my dearest friend holly mentioned to her mum and dad that i had a wee crush on him and mr wellon says "oh yah, i race with him." --- um hello??? how did i not know this sooner! there is it - my own personal little six degrees of separation! well more like 3 degrees! mr and mrs w. were at a race with patty this summer and they asked him for a wee autograph just for me! i mean how fabulous is that? so he 
is hanging in my office and looks very mcdreamy.when patty was younger he was very nerdy (any of you who are followers of my blog will know the background to this affinity) and as he matured he graduated to...well...outright hot. what is this all about anyways? men typically get better looking as they get older. its like they come into themselves later in life, and meanwhile women cling to the last seconds of their youthful looks till they have long passed. how come this happens. i mean some women do mature wonderfully and are stunning, but the vast majority peak in their early twenties and then start the spiral. not fair! i will do all that i can to fend of the unfortunate parts of aging, but i guess i have to hope that lyndon will still think i'm cute... its really kind of a scary thought isn't it?
