mercedes party for everyone!

yah so thats what i thought too, when you are lucky enough to be in a position to have the opportunity to buy yourself a mercedes, you don't get to throw yourself a party to welcome it to the family. i have a friend who has a friend (the guilty shall remain nameless) who is seriously having a party in honour of her new car purchase...its a sad day folks, and i'm not gonna lie to you, although i hope and pray to someday to be able to make a similar purchase, i will not, will NEVER think that it is an occasion deserving of a party. i think the getting of the car is a party in itself.

back to the more-real world, and those of us who have parties for things like birthdays....
today i felt stupid. really dumb. two day ago our fridge seemed to be getting warmer. i figured because of the high heat that maybe it had to work a little harder or something, well yesterday we realized the problem was imminent. the cooling had stopped. period. so i arranged in a panic for the repairman to come and fix my year-old fridge. today sucked on many levels as i had just gone grocery shopping (a task that i hate) and basically threw out an entire fridge worth of food, had to clean up a huge mess of meat juice from the freezer, and then when the guy came to the house, he said "oh you just have to turn the fridge on". ARGGHHH yes it seems that some product in the freezer may have bumped the knob - which i might add is not well placed kitchenaid take note - and switched off the cooling system. so the day was well spent.

i am looking forward to the weekend, tomorrow is steffie's wedding - check back on tuesday for pictures - and ryan and jonnie are coming to the cottage, with my cuzzies mila and sammy and it should be a good time - wait everyone, i have something very important to say - CANONBAAAALLLL!
