this weekend i hung out in town. my hubby had to work afternoons, so basically i was on my own. saturday was my self improvement day - i went for a walk, got a facial, read the rest of my book (that is that one luck which i may say is a compelte waste of time), got eyelash extensions, and then hung out with my buddy jon for the evening.
i have a new addition to my blog - a hit counter. i was curious, is this blogging thing purely for self glory, so that i can blah blah blah my way through life, or do people find interest, or are they at the very least are nosy enough to poke their nose into my blog. don't get me wrong, the whole point of a blog is for people to read it, but its kind of a bizarre thought isn't it. imagine this notion of in effect journalling - a typically private event, and yet done for the purpose of being public about it....so curious. im glad to see that i have had visitors, its reassuring to me and makes me feel like i am contributing, even if it is in such a nerdy way. i know i have wondered out loud about this before, but it continues to amaze me.
bernice has now taken to sitting on the back of our sofa. its a birds eye view and she loves it. she can growl at squirrels, watch passing cars, and she sees when we come home. she is almost one year old now, so we now leave her out of her cage when we are gone, unless we are leaving her for a long time, which we rarely do. august is bernice's first b-day (onthe 20th) and maxine's (marissas poodle) brithday this month too. we need to celebrate. stay tuned for the details on the upcoming celebrations!
