that's right...that just happened.

another summer week gone...i must admit this year i feel that it's going faster than others. this weekend i went to wedding number six, it was steve mohan's and we all had a good time, dancing, and laughing. jonnie was my date - and a very well-dressed date at that - and it was great to see some old faces. then we just hung out in oakville really, for the weekend. we went to the taste of the danforth, which was a little haphazard in set up if you ask me. i mean we had a good time, but we were looking forward to all sorts of greek dishes and found that there was a big asian influx in the menu. it was a great sunny day for it though.

last night my hero-du-jour came over - john (lynn's finacee) - and installed three electrical outlets in our house! we no longer have an extension cord running through a screen, we now officially have an outdoor plug....it seems like this might not a big deal, but let me tell you, if you don't have an outdoor plug, its then that you realize how much you need one.

the big announcement from this weekend is that meghan is engaged! i am so happy for her. they are planning a wedding in december, and its nice to know that things can sometimes work out for the best. so that makes wedding number 8 for the 2006 year. um is anyone getting married next year....i might go into withdrawal...
