its breast cancer awareness month and we started it off last week with the booby ball. the booby ball is a fundraiser for breast cancer. it was a fun night, erin and andy, josie and dave came over and then we all went downtown where angela and jason met up with us. it was at maro and there was a neat-o prize where you buy a glass of champagne and attached to the champagne glass was a little bag containing a gem and all but one are cubics, but one is a diamond from birks worth $5000 - um hello yes i bought one. i still don't know if i won the real one though i have to take it in to be appraised...maybe i will do that this weekend. 
then on sat, i had my hair done again - yes rene is the best and if - no when i win the lottery, i will employ her to do my hair everyday- and then sat night we went to a going-away party for andy :( he headed back to dublin last night which sucks for erin...boo... don't worry we will make the time go quickly! that was a crazy night and it was a late one...yes very very very late.
the next morning was the walk for the cure. it was downtown from nathan philips, around queen's park and back down...5 k. we were on the sarah ray team and our team rose $6000, and across canada $24 million was raised in that one day...amazing. it was really an emotional day watching all these people walking and wearing the names of the people they were walking for. it was amazing being a part of this
united front of people (i mean the streets were filled...completely) and the sense of hope that it inspired. i will do it again next year - no doubt about it. there was one sketchy moment when i realised i had to wear an oversized t-shirt, and there was almost a kramer moment (ie. refusing to wear the ribbon), but i got over it.
it was busy busy weekend, so to top it off i invited my self for a yummy din at chez dellios...yum...can i just have meals everyday from there?
