it does indeed. "glitter helps" this is very profound. dayle (lyn's mum) was the one who said it, and... i have to agree. she was talking about nana rice and how she thinks that my nana who is 81, is younger than dayle at 50 (she is her hero i think), she credits some of her vivacity to her "sparkle". therefore...glitter helps. this is true on many levels. an outfit looking bland...glitter helps. a guy wants to marry you...glitter helps. i think i would like to patent this slogan...i can see a t-shirt arising out of this...scratch that...a whole clothing line....in sewing class on monday i finished my little bolero jacket, (i will take a picture of it and post it next week sometime) its not bad for a first go, but i have learned alot and i know that when i make the second one, it will be far better.
last night lyndon and i went on a date...a little dinner at the keg. its such a fall/winter restaurant. it seems in the winter i start to crave red meat... the ambiance of the restaurant does it too i guess. alishia came over on sunday night and we went to jam for dinner...it is so yummy there...gotta have the coconut shrimp. i read an article the other day in marketing mag that stats canada calculated that canadians on average, ON AVERAGE eat at restaurants 560 times a year. :O um hello? thats one and a half times a day! how can this be possible? where is this money coming from? lyndon thinks that this must include places like stopping at tim's on the way to work, but even still! weird stat huh....fatties.
