today i changed the name of my blog, and i think that i might keep the title as an active bit of the blog. i saw my dad's blog today for the first time (and let me tell you this blog isn't in that blog's league) and it reminded me of how i should reflect some more of my interests in this virtual diary... hence the name change to reflect my love of reading. when i was away i actually finished three novels, i read the glass castle (which i left for erin b. in ireland and i hope she enjoys) - amazing reality that i cannot comprehend, empress orchid - about an empress in china (which erin b. recommended), really interesting culture, and another i can't remember the name, but its about mennonites or "mennos" as they are referred to, but it was a book that made me feel uneasy...this weekend we are off to the first of our 2006 weddings, in port dover. so we will also be seeing the swing fam. i also made a decision...i am going to quit the p barn. i wanted to do it last night, but i just didn't so...soon i will. i mean i only buy stuff from there when i am working so its counter-productive. i just need to buy 4 more sets of flatware first, then i will make the move.
ps i had a coconut cream pie blizzard today...yum...trust me....try it.
