my plus one

i was looking at my little one year old yesterday, we were playing a tickle game mixed with a good round of "boo" and i couldn't help but tear up. she was laughing like i was truly the funniest person alive and this was her fav moment ever. ev-er. my heart hurt it was so sweet. i had to say a little prayer of thanks right there for that moment, for my little belly girl. so it reminded me of so many of my other fav moments...and i figure i better document them so that i always remember...

1. boo - taught by her older and wiser learned-ed bf from the west she has disposed of "peek a boo" and opted for the much more distinguished "boo" although...it sounds often like "bo"
2. skill set - she has decided with emphatic gusto that she will feed herself...and therefore the floor, bernice and anywhere else she can "aim" her food
3. dancing continues - she loves music. the smallest little tune or jingle can come on - even background music - and she bounces away to it...her fav is the Y&R music....ha! oh and she "sings" too!
4. kisses - estelley and i do a three kiss in one first the eskimo kiss, the the butterfly kiss, followed by the traditional kiss...and often a hug...i heart the way she wraps her little arms around my neck...sigh...bliss
5. my plus one - everywhere i go, whatever im doing...i have a partner...i have her there loving me. its nice for the wife of cop to have a plus one to take places, no more single wife-dom for me!
6. copycat - she copies everything i do, hair brushing, cleaning counters, "reading" books out loud putting on her shoes...its an amazing thing to see this progress...
7. grace - thanks again to noah estelle is slowly but surely learning how to pray before dinner. she clasps her hands together in a single clap and smiles...heart melting

there are so many more...i think this will be an ongoing post...the list is neverending.

8. pig tails - she can wear piggie tails now...downstroke is that she is too cute like this to say no to!
