2007: c ya. 2008: s'up? well lemme give you a quick year end wrap up on '07 before i dive head first into all the good-i-ness of the coming year...ahem......blank stare...birds chirp...ok so im drawing a blank. but who cares...the year is done, christmas was good (got my much desired..nay...needed new pod), new years was alright (cant say good when as the ball dropped, i was madly driving through the drunken hoards at fort myers beach trying to get to my misplaced cellphone...but everyone celebrates in their own way right?) and the piece de resistance (frenchy french accent sil vous plait) ...i felt the baby move. yup. thats how my year ended...with a kick in the gut. and i gotta tell you getting kicked in the stomach never felt better...in fact im currently encouraging all forms of violence. you're never too young to learn how to throw a left hook...am i right?!
so we spent the last 9 days in naples fla. where they reached record low temps...perfect for our 
whiter than white butts who were desperately seeking out some of that ellusive sunshine we are deprived of in the so-called "great" north. but who cares when the US dollar is virtually par with ours?!! hee hee...some serious shopping did occur...but i am most impressed with my restraint, having merely dipped my toes in the waters of "baby's first spring/summer collection"...but i must say...she is off to roaring start. oh we also hit up the dog track where i quickly gathered...that just cuz the dog pees, it doesnt mean he will be faster...lesson learned.

april - heather starts to freak out because she realizes that bean in the belly is waaay bigger than an actual bean and will eventually come out

man and thats all before the fall! well someone better step it up for sept thru dec of next year, cause otherwise...its gonna be a bit of a let down ;)
ps. sending out a bug hi-dy ho to the newest blog in my "blog nerds i like" list...straight from the arse...snaps for a great title!
pps. two new reads; "fall on your knees" - oprah pick...i personally wouldn't reccomend it unless like her, im being paid milllions of dollars, and "a thousand splendid suns" - worth the read...wild that this world existed during my lifetime...currently working my way through "the zookeeper's wife" - incredibly interesting story during the holocaust...worth the read.

I must say you are cutest pregnant lady around!! You have such a glorious belly and you just seem to glow! Sounds cheese but it is true. You don't even have baby-face...I hope when it is my turn I can be as cute (and stylish) as you.
Wow the year seems incredibly exciting thus far, and can we say baby boom....what were you all doing last year????
I intend to keep a watch on the the growing bump and shopping for the new bean to be. I also shall be reading your new blogger friends site. Perhaps I should even start my own...we shall see.
