seems like im an old fashioned gal

we are in florida right now. we are staying at my parents place in naples. we got down here and mum and dad had done some renos on the place and it looks so great. dad was uber excited to show us his new hd/3d tv. we sat down to watch a movie in high def and....i didnt like it. sorry dad! i know it' a crisper sharper image, but i couldn't help feeling like i was watching a home movie. it was too real. i need the barrier that "old" production and screen quality gave me. i need that separation. i need to feel removed from the film just enough... sigh. guess im just old fashioned.
