im thrilled thrilled that conan is now the host of the tonight show. until i hit 25 i watched him almost every night on the late show...but then i got too old to stay up that late. sigh. luckily my problems are solved. i can watch this funny man at a decent time. but i do have a few issues with the show...well really the set.can we talk about the desk? we all know conan is tall, some might say gangly, so then why...why did they choose a desk to the proportions of danny devito?! conan looks awkwardly ginormous as he towers over the desktop his knees poking up beyond the edge placing them bizarrely near the ear height of the guests he is interviewing....so bizarre. and frankly just bad planning.
also not thrilled with the take on art deco theme that they went with...a little too reminiscent of mario brothers landscape.
all that being said...welcome conan...welcome.
and ps can someone fire jimmy fallon already...awk-ward.
