starbucks...my currency

i realized the other day that starbucks has transitioned from merely a beverage to a currency (and apparently a genericized trademark...well to me anyways). when out with friends there is often a bill to be split, or a favour that is done, or even a grouped purchase on some small item that occurs. inevitably there is an overage that occurs and therefore an imbalance. so often my response is "oh well...i'll get you a starbucks" in order to even the difference out. to me this is legitimate tender. i am more than happy to have a starbucks be a repayment. i hope its ok with my friends too (well i know its good with erin anyways!)

ps i went for a learn to run clinic today with angela! yup im giving it a try...i did the whole class...quite proud of myself. wee pat on the back to us.
