its a love hate relationship.

thats what i have with hp. a love hate relationship. i love their products, the quality is the best that an average income earner can buy, their products seem to always entice me...and lets be honest...are their commercials not enough of a reason to support the brand?! they produce some of the coolest graphics and photography in advertising these days....but all this doesn't seem to be reflected in their customer service...which is where the 'hate' comes in...im telling you there are a few obstacles that need to be overcome. 1) language barrier -puh-lease!... 2) time - dude i do NOT have 45 mins to sit on the phone while you to fill out a case form...just fix my problem! 3) dont take my technical problem to be the perfect opportunity to try to sell me something me something else! sigh...the outcome of the story is...im without a printer for a week.

well im headed to the cottage tonight for the long weekend, that is, if the roads are open. so the first nations community members are holding a day long 'peaceful' protest...one action they have taken is closing down the 401 to ottawa (they also are claiming to have guns and have threatened any police action...shall we define "peaceful")- luckily doesn't directly affect me, but i bet all the tourists planning to go to the nation's capital for canada day are truly impressed. also they have closed some major access routes into muskoka...my biggest issue is...i dont get what point they are trying to get across. i mean are they simply proving their "power"? are they trying to make a statement about how we need more road infrastructure in ontario? are they proving that clearly a small radical group can get their way in canada and ps all you bad guys, all you need to do is stick together and you will succeed? i just don't understand how by inconveniencing and angering the gerneral joe-blow public will do anything to gain respect, support or admiration. i think most people would agree that taking a stand is important for a cause you believe in, and its our right to be able to do it, but when it messes with my life...your freedoms just infringed on mine...so... back off. anyways here's to hoping that the first nations in sauble just takes 'er easy and i can make it to the cottage. i guess to me, whatever your protest is about, the public display should accurately reflect the purpose....but maybe thats just me....its all so appropriate on canada weekend dont you think? sigh...if only we all knew how good we've got it....
