wedding finale for '06

thats right, i just went to my last wedding for 2006...numero 8... it was meghan mckenzie's...well now meghan hansen. it was so nice and the little ones ran around all night making it very family oriented and cozy and comfortable. mariss - twig flowers - did the bouquets and table arrangements...sooo pretty and holly and i - baby-cakes - did the wedding cupcake cake. it was really nice and i know many of you want to see pics so i am posting them here for you. mariss and i had a realization this weekend...we are like an old couple of spinsters. hahah...we went as each other's dates to the wedding as our boys were busy, and we basically are together at least every other day and speak every day, we whine together, laugh and shop together, are crafty together and can be crotchedy at times. tee hee...we went and drove through this crazy christmas light display after the wedding on guelph line...it was insane, but something that is worth a look at if you are out that way in an evening. we wonder what the people's electrical bill is like (its abour 5-8 minutes past derry on guelph line on the right side - you cant miss it)

ok so wasnt it soooo pretty last night? i love the first real snow fall of the season. everyone and their dogs were out walking in oakville last night, looking at the lights and enjoying the cold air...i loved it. bernice and i went for a walk...she loves the snow...as long as its not too cold. ;) i put up our tree last night...just me and bernice...lyn was working, but lets be honest...he was glad not to have to do it. anyways...the snow really helped me get in the christmasy mood, and i am looking forward to a christmas party this weekend, and more importantly christmas baking! mmmm....shortbread...
