so what did you get your dad for father's day? i tried to give my dad a $10,000 shopping spree to sherway gardens...but it didnt work out. close but no cigar. i entered in the contest on chum fm by writing an essay about my dad and the best essay won the shopping spree....well the rules were not clearly told to us, as it turned out they picked the best five essays and did a random draw for the winner....hmpfh. i thought it was a real contest not a lottery! anyways i am SURE that i was in the top five, so instead of the money i gave him the essay instead.
it continues to be a busy month. we went to the cottage to "get away" but i still dont feel relaxed...probably becuase i am thinking about all i still have to do this month. i think after the wedding i will need a honeymoon too. it will be another short work week with all the pre-wedding fanfare, but the wedding will be something fabulous that's for sure.
lyndon put the dock in this weekend at the cottage with cam's help and the buttus too. that means that the summer has officially begun in our house. sommer came home this weekend too, i haven't seen her yet, but have scheduled to see her on wednesday.
my mind is scattered with all the things i am trying to remember. maybe i will start using my blog to remind myself of the things i have "to do"
- make just married sign (design is ready)
- reshedule hair appoitment
- make cupcakes
- plan for dinner for grandma on tuesday
- take bernice to the vet re; reverse sneezing (its weird but apparently common)
- take a nap.....yawn
